At Adam Scott Education, our goal is simple: to give your students practical skills, clear understanding, and confidence for the future. Whether it’s money, markets, history, or philosophy, each class is designed to connect timeless lessons to real life in a way that engages students and supports families.
All of our classes are delivered online through Outschool, a trusted third-party learning platform. Outschool provides a secure and private environment with a proven track record for student safety, giving you peace of mind while your learner participates.
From there, your student joins live sessions or self-paced courses led by me or my team, where we combine clear instruction, guided discussion, and hands-on activities.
Families can easily manage enrollment, scheduling, and communication through Outschool’s system, ensuring a smooth and reliable experience.
*For many states, Outschool is an approved ESA vendor.
Payment note: Outschool requires a monthly membership, which give you a recurring amount of credits. It is easy to use (and cancel) while typically offering value for families. The 'best practice' is to purchase 'fewer credits' than needed for a class, and then your account will be charged the difference upon sign up.

Money touches every part of life — yet most teens never learn how it actually works. This 16-session course is a full semester of real-world financial education, backed by over 90 pages of curriculum I’ve developed. Students learn how to earn, budget, save, protect, and invest — with activities, discussions, and examples that make the lessons stick. It’s one of the most important classes your student will ever take, giving them the tools and confidence to make smart money decisions for life.
Our most popular homeschool class — now available in a flexible, self-paced format. In 12 clear lessons, students learn the essentials of money: earning, saving, budgeting, protection, and investing. With video instruction and guided activities, your student can build lasting financial skills on their own schedule, with the freedom to revisit lessons anytime.
This bundle combines our 12-lesson Personal Finance course with a 5-lesson Investing Basics Portfolio Builder class. Students start by mastering the fundamentals of money — earning, saving, budgeting, protection, and credit — then take the next step by learning how the stock market works and building a practice portfolio. Flexible, self-paced, and purely educational, this program equips your student with the tools to understand money and investing with confidence.
Most students hear about “the market” without ever learning what it really means. This 32-session live course is a full-year exploration of how investing works — from stocks, bonds, and ETFs to diversification, risk, and building a long-term portfolio. With guided discussions, simulations, and hands-on activities, students don’t just memorize terms — they practice making decisions like real investors. By the end, your student will understand how markets function and feel confident managing money for the future.
Investing can feel overwhelming — but it doesn’t have to. In this 5-session intensive, students learn the essentials of how the stock market works while building a practice portfolio step by step. Through clear video lessons and guided activities, they’ll explore stocks, risk, diversification, and long-term strategy. This self-paced course is designed to give your student a strong foundation in investing — practical, flexible, and confidence-building.
Curious about the stock market but not ready for a full class? This weekly discussion group is the perfect entry point. Each session, students explore current market news, talk through real-world examples, and share investing ideas in a guided, low-pressure setting. It’s a chance to “test the waters” and see if finance and investing spark their interest — while building comfort with the language of money and markets.
The economy shapes nearly everything we experience — but most students only hear about it in passing. This 16-session quarter course (meeting twice per week) introduces the core principles of economics in a clear, engaging way. Students explore supply and demand, markets, incentives, government policy, and global trade through real-world examples and guided discussion. By the end, your student will not only understand the “rules of the game,” but also be able to connect classroom concepts to the world around them.
Sometimes a student needs more than a class — they need personal guidance. In one-on-one tutoring sessions, I work directly with your student to focus on their unique goals, whether that’s mastering personal finance, building an investing foundation, or strengthening their understanding of history and economics. With customized lessons and direct support, your student gets clarity, confidence, and the chance to ask every question they need. These sessions are flexible, tailored, and designed to help your family see real progress.
Every great business starts with a simple idea. In this 5-lesson self-paced course, students learn the basics of entrepreneurship while building their own business plan step by step. Through clear video lessons and guided worksheets, they’ll explore how businesses earn money, manage costs, and create value. By the end, your student will have a complete business plan draft — and the confidence to start thinking like a builder.
